SIGOURNEY WEAVER: ALIEN ASS-KICKER
FEMME FATALES
Vol. 5 No. 4 (whole number 20)
October 1996
Publisher: Frederick S. Clarke
Editor: Bill George
Cover: David Voight
Pages: 64
Cover price: $5.95
Headlining this Halloween issue of the late, great FEMME FATALES is the lady who kicked Giger's Alien ass, Sigourney Weaver. An accomplished actress and strong female lead, Miss Weaver is featured in a lengthy profile in anticipation of her role in SNOW WHITE for big people.
The issue kicks off with a story on USA Network's "Reel Wild Cinema", a series that played off-the-wall, B-movie cheapies like KISS ME QUICK and FASTER PUSSYCAT, KILL! KILL!
There is an article on the lovely Adrienne Barbeau, once the main squeeze of director John Carpenter. Also in this above-average issue is coverage (or, uncoverage, as it were) of Hammer Glamour actress Madeline Smith. Miss Smith has the classic features of the British beauty and is endowed (no pun intended) with a more than sufficient talent, thank you very much. Much of the material for this article was supplied by Dick Klemensen, editor and publisher of LITTLE SHOPPE OF HORRORS. A very voluptuous issue!
