NIGHT OF THE DEMON BLU-RAY: 2 DISCS, SLIPCASED AND LOADED!

Sight unseen, this will be without a doubt my claws-down favorite vote for best DVD in this year's Rondo Awards. NIGHT OF THE DEMON (CURSE OF THE DEMON in the US) is a Jacques Tourneur tour-de-force and, in my opinion, the best occult horror film ever made (yes, better than ROSEMARY'S BABY!). The all-region Blu-ray 2-disc package will be available at the end of the month from UK's Powerhouse Films, the same folks who gave us the William Castle and Hammer Films boxed sets. Just look at the astounding content below.

PRE-ORDER NOW: THIS ITEM WILL BE RELEASED ON 22 OCTOBER 2018, BUT YOU CAN PRE-ORDER IT NOW TO BE GUARANTEED A COPY. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR PAYMENT WILL BE TAKEN IMMEDIATELY, AND THE ITEM WILL SHIP JUST BEFORE THE RELEASE DATE.

(Jacques Tourneur, 1957)
Release date: 22 October 2018
Limited Blu-ray Edition (UK premiere on Blu-ray)

Based on M R James’ classic tale of terror, ‘Casting the Runes’, and adapted for the screen by regular Hitchcock collaborator Charles Bennett, Jacques Tourneur’s (Cat People, I Walked with a Zombie, Out of the Past) Night of the Demon is considered to be one of the seminal horror films of Twentieth-Century cinema. Released on Blu-ray for the very first time in the UK, the film is presented here in four different versions, and is accompanied by an incredible array of new and archival special features. Also includes a Limited Edition exclusive double-sided poster and 80-page book.
