On this date a year ago, after clicking on the "Publish Post" button for the first time, I  began shouting "It's Alive . . . Alive! In the name of Google, now I know what it means to Blog!" Well, my wife thought I was crazy, to which I replied: "Mad, am I?"

Well, you get the picture. In any event, here I am, nearing 500 posts later, still going (I hope) strong and with plenty more to share. And I have to say that blogging is darn near the perfect way to express what I have to say about one of my most favorite subjects, too. Never mind the crazy stuff. Everbody's got a special friend that talks to them inside their head . . . don't they?
