BRAINS AND CHIPS, ANYONE?

"THE IDEA WAS SIMPLE. CREATE A SPACE WHERE PEOPLE WHO LOVE HALLOWEEN, HORROR FILMS, AND GOTHIC DARK MUSIC CAN GATHER FOR A MEAL AND DRINKS. A SAFE SPACE WHERE IT REALLY FEELS LIKE HALLOWEEN ALL YEAR ROUND AND PEOPLE CAN COME AND ENJOY GOOD FOOD, GOOD DRINKS, LISTEN TO GOOD MUSIC, AND FEEL COMPLETELY COMFORTABLE TO BE AS FREAKY AS THEY WANT TO BE. THIS WOULD BE MY HOME FOR THE FREAKS, WEIRDOS, AND GROWN UP GOTH KIDS OF THE CITY." ~ZACH NEIL

With locations in Los Angeles and New York, the Beetle House restaurant is the go-to place if you like your dining on the Dark Side. Influenced by Tim Burton's eccentric and wildly weird creations, the eateries offer fare with names inspired by his movies and with a decidedly hip spin on the ingredients.

With recipes like "Graveyard Noodles", "The Butcher's Stew", and "Edward Burger Hands", here's a sample of the type of dishes that are served up at the Beetle House from the newly published cookbook, THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE DINNER: RECIPES TO DIE FOR, by Zach Neil.
