MAKE A DASH FOR MONSTER BASH!
Looks like Daniel Horne has found a new home at Ron Adams' MONSTER BASH mag since MONSTERS FROM THE VAULT, with the exception of its very long-awaited last issue, has been laid to rest. I had a chance to chat with him at Monsterpalooza a few years ago. And, if you think his work is great on the cover of a magazine, you should see the paintings in person -- they are truly stunning.
From PREVIEWSWORLD:
The classic monster movie magazine that feels retro and yet is right here in the present looking back at film history. All glossy with color and black and white. Packed with monsters! The Universal classic Bride of Frankenstein is explored in detail with behind-the-scenes rare photos, The Godzilla Legacy in films by author Frank Dello Stritto, the bats are flapping for the unsung atmosphere of 1935's Mark of the Vampire with Bela Lugosi and Carroll Borland, Fan Flashbacks...memories of growing up loving monster movies from fans across the Monster World. A Gruesome Gallery of crystal clear vintage stills, and so much more. Stunning cover painting by Daniel Horne.
