Loaded with both vintage and new material, this issue of CRACKED MONSTER PARTY is a standout. Mort Todd, who has remained a faithful CRACKED alumnus, put together a perfect example of the essence of the "Party" in this collection of humor and gags, all with a Transylvania twist. Interspersed throughout are seven full-page renderings of magazine mascot Sylvester P. Smythe in the guise of various famous monsters, beautifully rendered by Ron Orzechowski. There is a spoof of the story of the Frankenstein monster.... told from his point of view, and a weird strip of "America's Wackiest Clan", "The Uggly Family Album", by Stosh Gillespie (aka, Daniel Clowes). Included is art by Bill Wray, Joe Maneely, Bill McCartney (Bill Ward), Don Orehek, and of course, the late, great John Severin.
