KEVIN McCARTHY 1916 - 2010

MONSTER MAGAZINE WORLD has learned that actor Kevin McCarthy passed away yesterday, September 11, 2010. He died of natural causes in Hyannis, Massachusettes. He was 96 years old. Mr. McCarthy was born in Seattle, Washington in 1916, and is probably best known to monster movie fans for his role in the original INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS (1956).

    After IOTBS, my favorite older genre role of his was the TZ episode "Long Live Walter Jameson".
