Today is a slight departure from the usual monsters and creatures usually seen here, but there is a different kind of monster shown in this issue of FAIRY TALES #11 (Ziff-Davis, June-July 1951). It tells the tale of Beauty and the Beast, and while the "Beast" is initially menacing, the story ends up like all fairy tales -- everyone lives happily ever after. Included is the one-page feature, "All About Fairies", found on the inside front cover and the text article, "Where Fairy Stories Come From". There's no information on the writer and the artists in this comic.
