A couple of weirdies in this, the second issue of Toby's TALES OF HORROR. Myron Fass provides the cover art, depicting the tale, "The Thing in the Pool", which he also illustrated. Another oddity is "Love From a Plant", an early plant horror comic story in which a man creates a beautiful woman with the dual purpose of loving him and doing away with his -- who else? -- wife. In true EC-fashion, the experiment fails on both counts. Other stories are illustrated by A.C. Hollingsworth and Lawrence Dresser. No script credits in this issue.
