Just picked it up last week. It is awesome.
It certainly looks like the original Kong and well worth the price. I'm on the fence right now as I've already got two larger versions and nowhere left to put something new other than in the closet here at the Mysterious Mansion!
Yeah, I hear you. I have the Todd McFarlane Kong & the Mezco Kong & the Bandai set from King Kong vs. Godzilla.
I also have a 16 year old who has the same classic monster movie/monster toy addiction as his old man & he is forever pointing out new releases that I just can't resist.
Oh well...
I consider that a good thing, and it's great to hear that there's another Monster Kid among the ranks!
