LON CHANEY IN THE UNHOLY THREE PHOTOGRAPHED BY GEORGE HURRELL (PART 2)

This is another photograph of Lon Chaney from his last film, THE UNHOLY THREE (MGM, 1930), by famous Hollywood portrait photographer, George Hurrell. The 10" x 13" oversize print has a faintly legible signature in the lower left-hand corner. Hurrell photographed Chaney only once. He did not sign much of his work during this period, making this item a bit of a rarity. It was part of Forrest J Ackerman's personal collection that was auctioned off in April, 2009.
