Artist Kenneth Smith offers a meticulously drawn and hand lettered full-length story in this first issue of his privately-published underground magazine, PHANTASMAGORIA (Summer 1971). He describes the tale as a "fable" and discusses its rational-heavy content in juxtaposition to the irrational times. While taking a different approach, it brings to mind Steve Ditko's Ayn Rand-influenced proselytizing during the same period.
