I recently posted some info about the new Robby the Robot and Altaira plastic model kit from Polar Lights (available through my favorite model guy CULT TV MAN). Here's another kind of robot from another time period altogether -- 1931 to be exact. It's a book that was printed in the U.K. titled The Robot Man by H.J. Allingham. Judging from the looks of the cover, this robot isn't quite as friendly as Robby.
