FAREWELL, DON POST STUDIOS

In what is probably some of the suckiest news to come out of Monsterland in a long time, I learned today from Yellow Phantom's THE BLOOD-CURDLING BLOG OF MONSTER MASKS that Don Post Studios has been shut down as a result of a buy-out.

The original Don Post Studios legacy of monster masks is gone forever as the shop was locked up and the last of the staffers escorted out in true corporate brutality fashion (like, what are they gonna do -- trash their own work?).

So, will this be the last ever MONSTER MAGAZINE WORLD Don Post post? No way. There's lots of legend to go around.
