You've heard me chat up MAKE-UP ARTIST magazine here more than once. Headed for their 100th, each issue seems to only get better and better from the quality of the articles, the writing, and especially the photos.

The editors also fully understand that a lot of the interest in this topic are readers also interested in the fields of horror, sci-fi, fantasy, and other imaginative applications of studio and stage make-up. As a result, nearly every issue has at least one feature about monsters or other TV and movie creatures, from the latest zombie craze to appreciations of classic monster creators such as Jack Pierce.

Also given plenty of press is the greatest living monster make-up artist (yes, I'm remembering Rick Baker), Dick Smith. Memorialized in a print T-shirt, it is now available at the Make-Up Artist store. Click HERE to go there.
