I came across this site while researching an article I'm currently writing for publication. As far as I know, it was never completed and remains in limbo, waiting for the funds to finish it. But, boy, would I like to watch it if it ever comes out. There is a listing for it on IMDB, which indicates it was released in 2017, but if it was, I sure can't find it anywhere.
In the meantime, there's enough out there to get you salivating if you're a Charlton fan.

That 2017 release date is spurious, because I was able to access the project's Facebook page and there's a reference dated August 2019 stating the team was still filming interviews. A number of the listed contributors are now dead, of course.
ReplyDeleteI think, perhaps, the producers were being optimistic by getting it listed on IMDB. Nevertheless, I have found IMDB to be more than occasionally inaccurate and numerous times their listings are incomplete.
ReplyDeleteI've tried to find this movie more than a few times over the years. I'd love to see it. I remember when they were working on it and trying to raise funds. There was a burst of interest in Charlton at the time, about the same time that Charlton Neo was bubbling along.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly appears that they ran out of money at the post-production stage, which probably means there's a lot of raw footage out there somewhere.
