JERRY LEWIS MEETS THE MONSTERS

Abbott and Costello weren't the only the comedians who spoofed the Universal monsters-- Jerry Lewis had is fun with them, too.

Originally seen in DC's THE ADVENTURES OF JERRY LEWIS #83 (July-August 1964), "Scared Silly" was reprinted in the October-November 1970 issue of SUPER DC GIANT. Written by Arnold Drake and art by Bob Oskner, I think the comedy romp is a hoot.

FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND is mentioned in the story and Forry printed the segment into FM #29 (July 1964).

  1. The market is probably pretty small, but I'd buy collections of the Jerry Lewis and Bob Hope monster stories. They scream 60's weirdness.

  2. I don't mind 'em at all. They're a lot of fun.
