Robert E. Howard and sword and sorcery in general enjoyed a significant resurgence in the 60's and 70's. Fans of Howard in particular formed a large, loose network of like-minded individuals who read and researched all they could about the Man From Cross Plains. As a result, numerous fanzines sprung up across the county and anyone interested enough could create their own with a typewriter, mimeograph machine and a stapler.
As time went on, these publications became more refined with better print quality and artwork. One in particular is this nifty 'zine, REH: TWO-GUN RACONTEUR (issue #2, Summer 1976). Subtitled, "For the Followers of Robert E. Howard" it was edited by Damon C. Sasser, published by The Black Coast Press and printed by the Fanzine Workshop out of Houston, Texas with a print run of 500. The first issue was published in Spring 1976 and ran for 18 issues, the last being in Summer 2015.
NOTE: This reproduction is shared as a historical record and in the spirit of maintaining the memory and works of Robert E. Howard.
