Comic book artist Ramona Fradon passed away on February 24. She was 97 years old. Her career spanned six decades working for DC and Marvel. She also drew the BRENDA STARR, REPORTER newspaper strip after creator Dalia "Dale" Messick retired.
Miss Fradon co-created the characters Aqualad and Metamorpho, and drew issues of THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD, ADVENTURE, PLASTIC MAN and SUPERFRIENDS. A collection of her art was published by Dynamite Entertainment in 2014.
