Yvonne De Carlo "Lily Munster" of The Munsters Don Post Studios Test Casting (CBS, 1964-1966). Vintage original prototype test casting constructed of slip cast latex rubber. Originally released as an inexpensive mask sold to kids, the sculpt was derived from an actual lifecast of actress Yvonne De Carlo. This heavy latex casting from the original molds was presumably a prototype for a more expensive version of the Lily character mask featuring signature silver-streaked black 26" long wig and studio paint scheme. Polyfoam-filled with a cardboard tube embedded in the neck for affixing the head to a body form for display. The head measures 10" x 6" x 8" Created by the legendary Hollywood mask company Don Post Studios. Exhibiting some age and handling. In generally Very Good condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.
