One thing you have to say about most fanzines is that the writers take their subject seriously. Otherwise, why go through the trouble of publishing something you're not interested in, right?
Well, the folks in the UK who produced a couple of issues of BLOOD AND BLACK LACE were dedicated to Euro Horror and their content shows it. Writers were quick to lavish praise on the films that deserved it and pulled no punches when they thought there was a dud in the batch.
This is the second and final issue of the magazine (No. 2, 1989) and includes interviews with Dario Argento, Mario Baino, and Sam Arkoff. There's an article on Mario Bava and his filmography and lots of other news and reviews. A pretty deep dive into Euro Horror with a focus on Italian giallo and horror.
