This late sixties anthology series from DC bolstered their many other horror/mystery comics titles with additional quality content, lasting for 85 issues until it morphed into THE UNEXPECTED. It's longevity proved the success of the title. Much of the content of this first issue was handed over to the late comics legend, Alex Toth, who also contributed numerous stories to Warren's horror comics magazines.
