THE MAGAZINE THAT NEVER DIES, BUT HARDLY LIVES

Flying in lower than a bat in a hobbit hole is the (finally) latest in the long history of WEIRD TALES resurrections. The trumpets are muted, the clarion call is quiet, and the latest issue of "the magazine that never dies" has been published right under our noses.

Outside of a pretty cool title animation, authors bios and ordering information, the WEIRD TALES website is sparsely populated. I managed to find a cover image and the contents page elsewhere. My hope is that the stories return to their more horror-centric origins and contain less fantasy content.

I don't know through what means the current WT is being published and distributed but I couldn't find it listed on Amazon, B&N or Lulu. This in itself may not bode well for this incarnation.
