Now, here's a magazine that continues in the tradition of the fine art of low-brow culture in the form of hot rod, pinstriping and other forms of cartoon craziness known as "kustom kulture". Much of this work is accomplished under the spiritual guidance of Ed "Big Daddy" Roth (March 4, 1932 – April 4, 2001), who for all intents and purposes started it all with his iconic creation, Rat Fink.
The folks at GNARLY have offered a "Try Before You Buy" sample of their excellent publication, a portion of which is posted here today. But, you gotta check out their site that's packed with hot rod and monster illustration and cartoon goodness.
