"She ripped off the arm of the unlucky victim to make certain not a single drop of that precious life fluid had escaped the savage fury of her
foul and gore-clotted fangs."

The search for the many pseudonyms that author/director Ed Wood used during his writing career will probably never be over. Lists have been compiled from his papers and other sources, and sussed out by obsessed sleuths identifying his distinctive style, but his Rosetta Stone has yet to be discovered.
Last week, I posted a sample from Gallery Press' rare and elusive HORROR SEX TALES, which by all indications was mostly written by Wood. Today, I present the first part of the second issue of Stanley Publications' HORROR STORIES. This series began with two issues of ADVENTURES IN HORROR until the name change. Notorious for its lurid story titles and content, as well as it's sexually-provocative photos, this issue contains two stories identified as Wood's: "Revenge From Hell" (as Obadia Kemph) and "Adventures in Witchcraft" (as Whittier Fowles). Readers are also treated to a number of sexy ads, including one for lingerie legend, Frederick's of Hollywood, as well as a full-pager featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger promoting Joe Weider's body building course. Part 2 tomorrow!
NOTE: Some ads have been removed from this scan.
