Titus Moede, aka Titus Moody, got his start in films playing bit parts, then graduated into roles on TV series such as COMBAT, HAVE GUN WILL TRAVEL and THE TWILIGHT ZONE. He then worked for low-budget director Ray Dennis Steckler, appearing in THE INCREDIBLY STRANGE CREATURES WHO STOPPED LIVING AND BECAME MIXED-UP ZOMBIES (1964), THE THRILL KILLERS (1964), and RAT FINK A BOO BOO (1966).
In 1965, Moody tried his hand at filmmaking, producing a documentary titled, OUTLAW MOTORCYCLES. The sex and violence surrounding motorcycle gangs was was a popular topic for exploitation films during that period.
He edited this issue of the adults only photo-magazine, BARRED (Vol. 1, No. 5) in 1966. Now considered quite rare, the content of BARRED is obviously meant to cash in on the public's fascination of the aforementioned sex and violence of the motorcycle film genre.
