This unusual find from the September 1949 issue of POPULAR MECHANICS shows Kenneth Strickfaden, the man who gave us the spectacular laboratory special effects in films like FRANKENSTEIN and THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN at work, creating more of his magic electronics. Still remembered, the author covers Strickfaden's work in films, as well as his educational presentations for school kids and his interest in creating electronic musical instruments.
