Another Warren publication from the end of the 60's decade was the 1969 CREEPY YEARBOOK. With a cover by H.B Harris depicting a stylized version of the monster from the 1957 Mexican horror film "Ladrón de Cadáveres" (The Body Snatchers), the contents includes art by Frank Frazetta, Wally Wood, Johnny Craig, Neal Adams, and others. Scripts are by the inimitable Archie Goodwin.
We still have this issue !!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyable post!
That cover really repulsed me when I bought the issue, but I have since learned to appreciate it a little more. Maybe that was the point!
