WELCOME TO GHOULSVILLE!

Growing up as a Monster Kid, at Halloween time there seemed to be an infinite number of choices for costumes and masks, especially those stiff plastic ones that got stuck to your sweaty face while you were running door-to-door to fill up your plastic pumpkin or pillowcase with candy. A "flame-retardant" skeleton costume was this trick or treater's character of choice and served me well for a couple of years, until I literally grew out of it.

After discovering and gazing in wonderment at the line of masks from the Ghoulsville Retro-a-go-go website, I would have mowed the lawn for a year for free for one of these! Designed by Ghoulsville's own Doug P'gosh (the site is run by his wife), each mask is a loving tribute to the 60's vacuform monster masks. There is even a series of Universal monster masks. And if that ain't enough, there are several wall decor versions that are nearly two-feet tall!

If these aren't the black cat's meow, I don't know what is. Click HERE to visit the site.

You can also pre-order the Universal Monster masks at Monsters In Motion.

Ghoulsville at Retro-a-go-go also has all sorts of monster goodies, including these fangtastic prints by Doug P'gosh.
