"Without Ray Bradbury,
there would be no Stephen King."
- Stephen King
Ray Bradbury still had decades of productive time left in his life and career when the May 1963 issue THE MAGAZINE OF FANTASY AND SCIENCE FICTION published this special section celebrating his work.
William F. Nolan's "Bradbury: Prose Poet in the Age of Space" is the most in-depth profile of Bradbury of the time. Two new stories are published here for the first time, followed by an index of his work thus far in his career. The cover is fittingly painted by Bradbury's long-time illustrator, Joe Mugnaini., whose highly stylized line work accompanied his stories in many book editions.
