After having long abandoned its overly-optimistic bi-weekly publishing schedule THE MONSTER TIMES settled in to a more sustainable monthly, allowing for really great issues like this one, a special on Frankenstein films. Allan Asherman appropriates Forry's "Filmbook" title as he recounts the original FRANKENSTEIN from 1931. Richard Kyle covers Frankenstein in the comics, followed by an interview with Frankenstein actor Glenn Strange. Ron Haydock, ex-editor of Paul Blaisdell's FANTASTIC MONSTERS OF THE FILMS takes us on a tour of the real Castle of Frankenstein. There's a one-pager on the first Frankenstein film by Edison and a discussion on latter-day Frankenstein movies. This issue is dated April, 1973.
