Taking a cue from Boris Karloff's intro from his horror/suspense TV show, I present this nicely done fanzine from 1972 published by Jerry Weddle out of New York. Behind the cover by Bill Nelson you'll find a retrospective of Terrence Fisher's Hammer horror films and features on rare fantasy movies, 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY, and "Gone, But Not Forgotton", a guest editorial by Robert Bloch.
My eyes don't miss these venerable creations. They were filled with info but ferociously difficult to read.
ReplyDeleteYes, the world of fanzines is paved with blood. sweat and mimeograph ink.
