Pal's sci-fi rep is rock solid. I wish Doc Savage had been a little better, but it has its charms. I really enjoy his Puppetoons stuff. Quite weird.
ReplyDeleteAll one has to do is to look at his filmography to see what kind of influence he had. One that's usually under the radar is the 1954 The Naked Jungle, based on the short story "Leningen vs. The Ants", with Charlton Heston. An early thriller!
