A sequel of sorts to THE TWILIGHT ZONE television series, ROD SERLING'S NIGHT GALLERY ran for 3 seasons and 43 episodes (with 93 segments) from December 16, 1970, to May 27, 1973. As in the previous series, host Rod Serling would introduce each macabre tale, this time in an art gallery setting with each story having its own painting in the background. An interesting device which added much to the atmosphere, the paintings were by Jaroslav "Jerry" Gebr and Thomas J. Wright.
Shown are a few examples of their original work.
