Next month, Marvel Comics will be publishing the 300th issue of their Conan comic book series. The legendary Cimmerian was first published in his own illustrated title in October, 1970, with story and art by Roy Thomas and Barry Smith and ran for a whopping 275 issues. During that time, Conan battled all sorts of monsters, demons and evil wizards. Many mini-series and specials followed over the years and it certainly seems that Conan the Barbarian remains a viable character. Following art the obligatory variant covers that will be available.
