APOCALYPSE 1940

"A nation that forgets its past has no future"
- Winston Churchill

World War II had been raging for a year when the September 1940 issue of TERROR TALES came out. Even the pulp magazines felt the weight of this world-wide conflict with paper shortages and reduced readership. The real horrors of war did not escape the editor, as this chilling and foreboding editorial testifies. Now the battlefields of the world are mostly quiet. There's still much to be done, however, to still the ever-present warlike tendencies of mankind.
