MAGAZINE OF HORROR NO. 2 (PART 1)
The line of Health Knowledge magazines included several titles that covered weird fiction, science-fiction and horror. They were instrumental in re-introducing material to readers by way of reprints. H.P. Lovecraft, H.G. Wells, Ambrose Bierce, Frank Belknap Long, Robert W. Chambers and many others found new life within the pages of Robert A.W. Lowndes' magazines.
The example shown here is MAGAZINE OF HORROR #2 (November 1963) which was on the cusp of the resurgence of horror and fantasy literature in the 60's. It includes a story about the infamous Elizabeth Bathory.
