GOTHIC: THE DARK HEART OF FILM

Ruined castles, haunted mansions, fog-shrouded graveyards, vampires, werewolves and apparitions -- all are woven into the fabric that we call the Gothic. In this issue of BFI's SIGHT AND SOUND magazine (November 2013), the history of Gothic horror films is covered by author Rhidian Davis.
