Creature from the Black Lagoon in Mechanix Illustrated (Fawcett, 1954). Fine/Very Fine. Magazine (224 Pages, 6.5" X 9.25). Horror. This May 1954 issue of the how-to inventor's magazine features an article describing the make-up, costuming, stunt men, and under-water effects used in bringing to life the Gill-Man of The Creature From The Black Lagoon (Universal International, 1954). The magazine also includes advertisements, step by step instructions for home repairs, and other stories of modern science and ingenuity. An unrestored magazine that displays signs of use. May include light edge or spine wear, creases, very minor paper loss, minute tears, or toning. There is writing in the top left corner of the cover. Fine/Very Fine.
