HISTORICAL NOTE: These cards are from the Topps 1963 "Monster Midgee Card" set. The backs of the cards included a joke under the title "Monster Laffs". They were sold in a wax pack with a stick of bubble gum. The small cards came attached 3 to a panel. It is uncommon to see any complete panel card examples on the market. I also seem to remember being able to buy these out of supermarket vending machines back in the day as well. The set is comprised of promotional stills from American International Pictures monster movies of the time. If you look closely at the cards displayed here, you can still see some of the perforation left from the cards being removed from each other.

Man, the gags on these cards are a lot funnier than the ones on the previous set, ha ha!
