This book is a collection of EC Comics adaptations of stories by Ray Bradbury illustrated by various artists. There is a small bookstore stamp on the front endpaper and a 1" shallow scratch on the back cover, otherwise the spine is tight and uncreased. Price: $50.00

TOMORROW MIDNIGHT By Ray Bradbury. MMP. Ballantine Books, First Edition June 1964. Condition: Very Good. Out of Print. This book is a collection of EC Comics adaptations of Ray Bradbury stories written by Al Feldstein and illustrated by various artists.The cover has slight wear and there are two (2) minor creases in the spine, otherwise a very good, solid copy. TALES OF THE INCREDIBLE By Al Feldstein. MMP. Ballantine Books, First Edition March 1965. Condition: Good/Very Good. Out of Print. This book is a collection of EC Comics science fiction stories illustrated by various artists. The cover shows some minor wear and the spine has some creases and has rolled slightly. There is a book store stamp on the front endpaper. The books shows some wear and age but the pages are tight and in good condition. Price: $50.00

TALES FROM THE CRYPT By Al Feldstein. MMP. Ballantine Books, Second Edition March 1965. Condition: Good. Out of Print. The bottom right front cover is creased and the spine has one deep crease. A previous owner's name is written in ink on the inside front cover. Otherwise there are no loose pages and the pages are bright. Price: $40.00

HOWLING MAN, THE By Charles Beaumont. MMP. Tor. First MMP Printing. This anthology contains work by one of the preeminent weird stories authors of the 50's and 60's. Once-editor of PLAYBOY, Beaumont made his living selling short stories and scripts to such markets as Rod Serling's THE TWILIGHT ZONE. His tale, The Howling Man, was one of the eeriest of the series. Beaumont wrote move scripts including AIP's THE HAUNTED PALACE and THE CIRCUS OF DR. LAO. This huge book collects 31 of his short stories. Anyone who is interested in the craft of horror and suspense writing should consider this required reading. Condition: Very Good+ w/slight spine crease. Price:$10.00

DEVIL RIDES OUT, THE By Dennis Wheatley (Ballantine, 1972) First Printing MMP. Fine- w/ bookseller's stamp on inside first page. No creases to cover, spine or pages -- minor cover wear. $10.00

VAMPIRELLA PAPERBACK SERIES By Ron Goulart -- You are not likely to see a better collection of this mid-70's mass market paperback series for sale in one place. All penned by science-fiction author Ron Goulart, each one of these books is in super condition with very bright colors left on both front and back covers and no fading. All our without cover, page, or spine creases which is another collectible feature. With the exception of a bookstore seller's stamp on the inside first page of Deadwalk, none of these books are marked. All spines are tight and the books have been kept in plastic collector's bags for years. If it weren't for some slight yellowing to some of the inside front covers, you'd swear these just about came right off the spinner rack in the 70's.

MAGAZINES

This very interesting series of monster movie magazines is not too hard to find, but MONSTER MAIL ORDER is offering copies in better condition at prices usually reserved for those sold as "Good" or "Acceptable". For instance, a copy of SHRIEK #1 was currently seen on eBay for the "Buy It Now" price of $64.95 -- in Very Good condition. SHRIEK had a more serious approach to coverage of horror films, even more so than CASTLE OF FRANKENSTEIN, which is generally considered the "intellectual's monster magazine" at the time.
