Well, it actually started a week or so ago, but there's plenty of time left to enjoy an extra burger or two this month. I always love a burger and to celebrate the occasion I'll be sharing with you some of the local fare around the Seattle area here and there throughout the rest of the month. I'll be mostly posting fast food or restaurant burgers as opposed to those from taverns or more upscale restaurants, but you might see one or two in the mix.
It just wouldn't seem right to start things off with anyplace besides Dick's Drive-In. The Seattle fast food staple celebrated its 72nd year of business in 2026, with a special day where they charged their original price of only 19-cents for a regular burger.
As popular as the many locations throughout the area are, I have to say it's not on the top of my list of favorites. But if you want a pretty good, cheap burger, Dick's is the place. I recommend the Deluxe which is a mere $5.75 and the fries are just three bucks.
