CRESTWOOD'S FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE WOLFMAN (PART 1)

A generation of fans have thrilled to the series of adaptations of their favorite monster movies that were published in a series of books by Crestwood House, Inc. A former imprint of Simon and Schuster, the series started in 1977 and ran through the 1980s.

Born in Chicago, Illinois on 10 July 1931, May is best known by science-fiction and fantasy fans for her Saga of the Pliocene Exile and Galactic Milieu series books. To monster kids growing up in the late 70s, however, she was Ian Thorne, writer of monster books.
