Marvel's THE SAVAGE SWORD OF CONAN had the advantage of being magazine-sized which allowed for larger and more dramatic images. This worked especially well for the covers which were painted as opposed to the typical pencils, inks and colorings of the comic books. This gallery showcases some of the "Marvel-ous" cover work that was depicted by artists that included Boris Vallejo, Earl Norem, Val Mayerik, Bob Larkin and a host of others throughout its 235 issue run from August 1974 - July 1995.
