With my first glance at "House of Evil!", the lead story in this issue, I recognized it as the work of Jerry Grandenetti. But when I looked at the art credit at the bottom of the first page, I was surprised to see Joe Orlando's name. Well, it turns out that Grandenetti drew some stories for Orlando, who himself inked Grandenetti's pencils.
The term "ghosted" doesn't quite work with these in my estimation, because Grandenetti clearly illustrates with his own identifiable style instead of attempting to emulate Orlando's style as seen in numerous other stories in CREEPY and EERIE.
Citing EC Comics as an influence, Ron Parker penned several stories for both EERIE and CREEPY (in this issue, "Gnawing Fear!"). However, his primary main line of writing was articles for thoroughbred horse racing magazines!
Also, check out "Dear Cousin Eerie" for the letter by Jay Lynch who comments on Frazetta's anti-smoking strip.
NOTE: Ben Oda supplies the word balloon lettering for all the stories in this issue.

It's fascinating to see Gene Colan's use of that jagged panel construction before he used it to great effect on Dr. Strange.
