In 1966, Topps introduced a sticker card set depicting the romantic side of the Universal Monsters. For some unknown reason, the box title read "Frankenstein Valentine Stickers", but the individual packs read, "Frankenstein Stickers".
The set totaled 44 stickers. Each pack held 5 cards and the usual stick of gum for the (at that time) usual price of 5 cents. The images were painted by the prolific illustrator, Norman Saunders, who also created the frightful images on the Mars Attacks! cards.
Here is a sampling of the various sticker cards. It's not too late to print one off and surprise your sweety!
