FEMME FATALES VOL. 2 NO. 3 (PART 1)

FEMME FATALES
Vol. 2 No. 3 (whole number 7)

Winter 1994
Publisher: Frederick S. Clarke
Editor: Bill George

Associate Editor: Debbie Rochon
Pages: 64

Associate Editor Debbie Rochon takes over the helm from Bill George's absence in this issue and fires a fusillade for femdom: "What is a femme fatale? She's a progressive, meteoric leap over those creaky anachronisms. "damsel in distress" and "scream queen". She goes on to say: "My interpretation of a femme fatale is a woman of strength, independence and power. Translating her past suffering and victimization into learning experiences, she has risen like a phoenix from the ashes to conquer her adversaries."

It is this juxtaposition of feminism (from the pen of horror actress Rochon) and flirtatiousness  (from the pen of cheesecake collector George) that make FEMME FATALES the slick, sexy 'zine that it is.
