Hey, monster lovers -- October just got off to a great start! Richard "The Klem" Klemensen is just about ready to unleash the 31st issue of the venerable and steadfast (and really good) LITTLE SHOPPE OF HORRORS.
Spotlighted in this issue is Hammer's 1971 DEMONS OF THE MIND. Also featured is "The Making of Trog" (now there's an esoteric one for 'ya) and the little-discussed William Castle 1961 version of THE OLD DARK HOUSE. We'll find out more about these more obscure titles in the next issue of LITTLE SHOPPE OF HORRORS, due later this month.
According to LSOH's website, here's what to expect:
Featuring –
¨ Hammer 1971 DEMONS OF THE MIND.
A truly original story that was hardly distributed in the UK
or the USA, but was thought provoking, beautifully photographed and
acted. Not a classic but one of Hammer
better films of the 1970s. y Bruce G.
Hallenbeck.
