I was trying to think of a fitting topic for MONSTER MAGAZINE WORLD'S 50th post, when it occurred to me that another record had been set yesterday. Only a few minutes away from the MYSTERIOUS MANSION, in Seattle, an all-time heat record was set when the mercury rose to NINETY-FIVE degrees. Now, some of you that have been suffering back east and other parts of the states may think this is chump change, but just last week we were struggling to get out of the 70s. Anyway, it won't last long, but I'm fully intending to be writing to you all for MONSTER MAGAZINE WORLD'S 100th post in the not too distant future!
Now, in honor of Seattle, Washington's hottest July 8th on record, I give you THE HIDEOUS SUN DEMON from FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND #18, from a "50 Worst Horror Movies of All-Time" article by none other than Joe Dante. The article was called DANTE'S INFERNO! Hey, isn't that FJA crashing the movie set?
Woah, cool sun demon! Haha. Congrats on turning 50! ;)
ReplyDeleteYou're not going to skip posts 70-79 to get to post 100 sooner, are you?
ReplyDeleteLOL, Mike! Yes, I was thinking of removing "Magazine" from the blog heading and calling it "MONSTER WORLD BLOGSPOT". Then I'd just use reprints for 10 posts!
