After my recent post of the horror/comedy THE GHOST IN THE INVISIBLE BIKINI with Boris Karloff and Basil Rathbone I came across this feature from FM's companion mag, MONSTER WORLD #10 (September 1966). Now you can do the "Batusi" one more time!
Actually, I think you're supposed to be seeing the letters through the girl-- not the girl through the letters.
And it's "truth in packaging," in that it reveals the title as a tease: the bikini isn't "invisible" in the sense that it looks like she's not wearing one-- it's "invisible" in the sense that *everything covered by her bikini* has been made invisible, and you can see right through her!
Since they tip their hands on the gimmick title in such a stylish way, that's a great poster design! And definitely amazing, following years of AIP posters and titles that promised way more than the movie delivered.
That issue of MW was my primary exposure to this film, which I've got to finally see one of these days.
The article came out just at the time I began to appreciate everything in it *but* the "monsters"-- so it's pretty much stamped into a part of my brain.
(Looking at it again, I can practically feel "Uncle Forry" patting my head and chuckling knowingly at my wide eyes.)
Greetings, monster lover! Thank you for leaving a comment at WORLD OF MONSTERS!.

That poster is amazing! I love the way they fade the letters when it crosses over the girl.
